About Me
I have been a practicing yoga since 1998 and became a registered yoga teacher in 2000, subsequently earning the Yoga Alliance's Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher Certificate. After exploring several styles of Hatha Yoga, I found my personal practice benefitted from the teachings of B. K. S. Iyengar. I study weekly at the Iyengar Institute in NYC and I have trained intensively with the Iyengar family in Pune, India.
I have also explored a variety of meditation practices and I have a regular Vipassana or "Insight Meditation" practice which I incorporate into all of my classes.
I have created a spacious and serene well-equipped home studio, and I enjoy teaching both private and group yoga and meditation classes.
